Have you been naughty or nice…

Time to see who has been naughty or nice.

I do not usually have plenty of christmas decorations but I like to have few bits and pieces with christmas tree. I love my handmade decorations, they might not be perfect but they surely have a huge amount of meaning.

Here is some very simple and cute elf that you can do yourself with or without kids.

First elf is made out of faux fur (sewn into a bag), filled with a bag of rice (it functions also as a door stopper) and some insides of an old pillow. I glued a wooden pearl as a nose and cut of a hat out of red felt.

Second set of elf are done as follows: strong cardboard covered with red and white fabric, faux fur beards, red pearls as noses and small knitted elf hats with small bells on them.

When ti comes to these diy projects, dont worry if things don’t go to a plan- sometimes you get even better results… and when the results are not better- they are more memorable 🙂

Christmas decoration

The main thing I miss out while living in Ireland is snow. And snow is a key ingredients in my christmas… so I decided that it is time to bring a piece of scandianvia to here:

Snow Flakes

Take white paper and cut it into shapes of your choise. Here are some examples how to cut flakes:

Couple of more of these cold&flu days and I have all windows filled with these 😀
